This pristine dive spot in Sabah is nestled on a tiny island in the middle of the sea! – Lankayan Island Dive Resort

A water paradise in the Sulu Sea located 1.5 hours by boat from Sandakan, Sabah, Lankayan Resort is nestled on the tiny unpopulated Lankayan Island that is part of the Marine Protected Area.

Stay either in their beachfront chalets or overwater villas and you’re just minutes away from its dive sites with rich marine life. You might even catch sight of the gigantic (but harmless) whale sharks and get to release baby turtles back into the sea.

P.S. This resort will be re-opening in July!
