10 Affordable weekend girls’ getaways in Janda Baik and Bukit Tinggi (1 hour from Kuala Lumpur) with private pool for big-groups (6-30 pax)!
Tired of living it up in hotels or villas? Maybe you should try glamping for a change!
In Malaysia, we know that camping and mosquitoes don’t mix, which is part of the reason why some of us (myself included) haven’t gone camping yet.
But then I came across Boulder Valley Glamping and it slowly changed my mind. If you’re someone like me who’s not used to the raw outdoor, this glamping is a perfect introduction to camping it out in the wilderness.
The tents have remarkable views of the jungle terrain and it has comfy beds with running water and electricity to get you through. What I like about this place is how the tents look like fancy jungle huts, and to me, that’s aesthetically pleasing especially if I’m going on a comfortable camping trip for the weekend. But if you’re coming in a larger group, check out their beautiful glasshouse chalets that can fit up to 6 pax or it can be used as an event space as well.
Don’t worry about getting bored either, located just about 3-5min away, Teluk Bahang–Balik Pulau is an agro-eco tourism hot spot where you can visit some theme parks, butterfly farms, green trails and more! They have a pool to cool off in and also boulders to climb on too!
So book a tent now, and drift off into the wilderness!
