There’s lots to see and much to discover whenever I take a trip down to Melaka. From their historical landmarks to their colourful graffiti art, I’m in a constant state of wonder for what this place brings. But what makes it more thrilling is their food scene.
I’ve only been to Melaka a few times, so when I heard about Waronk, I was super intrigued. A delightful gastronomical experience always comes hand-in-hand with pleasant views and delicious meals. For Waronk, it checks both boxes!
Located just along Sungai Melaka, this two-storey eatery has people flocking over for their delicious variety of foods and views. Whether it’s spicy Asam Pedas or juicy chendol, you can indulge yourself in any of their Malay, Chinese or Western cuisine (They serve up to 200 dishes to be exact) and all of it can be enjoyed by the riverside!
Just a heads up though, this place can get pretty packed. People would not only come here for their food, but for their fun live bands as well. Good music and good food equals good vibes! And watch out for parking spots too as they are limited!
